Can I take my passport photo with my phone?
Yes. A smartphone photo works well. Use good, even lighting, stand in front of a plain background, look directly at the camera, and follow our simple photo-taking guide.

Does my background have to be completely white?
Not necessarily when you take your photo. A plain, uncluttered background with good lighting works best. Depending on the service selected, the background can be professionally prepared as part of your order.

What happens after I upload my photo?
Your photo is professionally prepared according to the requirements you select. Our process includes technology-assisted checks followed by a final human review for framing, background, image quality, and overall readiness.

What if the photo I upload cannot be used?
If your photo cannot reasonably be prepared for the selected requirements, we may contact you and ask for another photograph before completing your order.

Are Lumaris Photo passport photos guaranteed to be accepted?
We carefully prepare and review your photograph according to the requirements selected with your order. However, final acceptance is determined by the government agency, institution, or other authority receiving the photograph.

Can you prepare photos for different countries?
Yes. We can prepare photographs for a variety of passport, visa, and ID photo requirements. Select the appropriate requirement when ordering. If you're unsure which one you need, contact us before placing your order.

Can I order passport photos for babies and children?
Yes. Our service can be used for adults, children, and babies. For infants and young children, we recommend reviewing our photo-taking instructions before taking the picture.

How will I receive my completed photo?
Digital orders are delivered electronically. Printed orders are professionally prepared, carefully packaged, and shipped to the address provided with your order.

Is Lumaris Photo affiliated with the government?
No. Lumaris Photo is an independent professional photography and photo-preparation service. We do not issue passports, visas, identification documents, or government approvals.
